Lovely gift By Gerardino "Random shopper"

I bought this Angry Birds 5" Plush Red Bird  for my girlfriend who loves Angry Birds. She loved it. The sounds make it funner. The size is pretty convenient since it's only 5" so it can fit pretty much anywhere. It really is not big enough for going around chasing green pigs... or monkeys in the jungle, for that I'd recommend the one double the size.
The plush itself is soft and seems of pretty good fabric. I haven't washed it or replaced batteries yet so I'm not sure how difficult this will be, but as a toy it is I'm sure it won't be big deal. View The Angry Birds 5" Plush Red Bird PRICE

I was a bit horrified by the price, but it's not completely unexpected with the current Angry Birds Plush Mighty Eagle merchandise craze. now onto the important stuff:

The 18" description is not fitting, when the box arrived, I thought it must be horribly over-packed with those air-pack things or something, then I opened it. It is 18" . . . HIGH, but from tail to beak, this thing is about 36"! HUGE TOY.

Now skip forward to the moment my son saw it, pure delight! He has avidly been collecting those little 6" Angry Birds Plush Mighty Eagle characters that make the sound with the button on their heads. This was the be-all-end-all for him. HE LOVES IT. He asked me if he could push a chair next to his bed to have it by him while he sleeps as it is too big to fit in his bed with him, lol.

Fun durable toy

So my son wanted an Angry Birds birthday cake. I watched more how to clips online than I care to tell you.I even thought about ordering premade fondant figurines for $60, but that was quickly shot down by my more realistic other half. then I saw these.They are exactly as pictured, individually wrapped, and well packaged. i got them in a couple of days after ordering. I took a simple 1/4 sheetcake.Then I made a cresent shaped bunker from rice krispy treats out of a box, and frosted it w/ chocolate frosting. I used keebler fudge/krisp cookies for the logs, and some "stone" shaped jelly beans by FAO that I found at T. R US.I set the pigs in the "log structure and up on the bunker, and used the launcher from the Angry birds game. Then my little guy got to keep the figures and the game. It was sooo easy and it honestly looked cute. Good luck. :-)

I am going to take a different stance on this review. My son loves this set. The thing is, he doesn't play it by the rules so I can't describe how it is. Under normal circumstances, this game is not easy as aiming the birds in a 3-D world is a lot different than on a 2-D phone screen. My boy doesn't use it as a game though. He uses it as a toy. He does make-believe like you would any other toy set. In that regard, he has a lot of fun with it. He creates his own set-ups and takes his other toys to add some flare to his "levels" and proceeds to do his own thing. He also combines this with the other boxed game to create bigger levels with more pigs and birds. So basically, used as a toy, it's really cool. Used as a game, I don't know, I haven't really tried it other than to try to aim with the catapult (and I did it poorly).
